Eaton Street Park

Eaton Street Park is one of two public spaces within the Town of Prescot and has been awarded the prestigious Green Flag Award.

Eaton Street Park is leased to Prescot Town Council by Knowsley Metropolitan Borough a copy of the lease containing the agreed responsibilities can be seen here. The park is maintained by the Town Council’s Grounds Maintenance Provider Knowsley Council.  The park benefits from:

  • Toddler play space
  • 8-13 play space
  • Wildflower trail
  • Picnic benches and seating
  • Events Space
  • Modern Pavilion Building

In September 2015 the Town Council worked alongside Knowsley Metropolitan Borough Council and the Friends of Eaton Street Park to successfully apply for funding from Ibstock Cory and The Cory Environment Trust to replace the old dilapidated bowling pavilion on site and make some landscaping changes to help enhance the visitor offer at the site. The Friends of Eaton Street provide an open invitation to their tea in the park sessions every Sunday from 2pm till 4pm at the Pavilion and operate a Community Food Club every Wednesday from 11.30am – 1.45pm. Park Management Plan – The Town Council are currently working with stakeholders to produce a new management plan for the park to take it to the next decade.
